Perodua loan in Sabah: understand your estimate
Compare flat-rate and reducing-balance simulations, deposits, terms and total repayment.
Two methods, two rate inputs
Choose flat rate or reducing balance in the model calculator. Reducing balance takes an effective annual EIR; monthly rate = (1 + EIR/100)^(1/12) − 1. Assumptions: equal month-end instalments, a fixed rate and no fees. The initial 6% EIR is an example only. Do not enter a flat rate in the EIR field as though they are the same.
Flat-rate simulation formula
Interest = loan amount × annual rate × years. Instalment = (loan amount + interest) ÷ number of months. Prices exclude insurance and optional accessories. The bank’s actual method may differ.
Example rates
Ativa, Aruz, Alza and Traz use 2.6%. Axia, Bezza and Myvi use 3%. Model calculators allow changes to the deposit, rate and terms of 5, 7 or 9 years. These are not bank rate offers.
Full loan does not promise no cash needed
A 0% deposit is only a simulation of financing 100% of the car price. It does not guarantee a financing margin, approval or coverage of insurance and fees.
Before accepting an offer
Compare total repayment and ownership costs. All approvals are subject to bank checks and terms.
